UK-based company Ocean Florida is looking for an adrenaline-seeker to become their next theme park tester. The successful candidate will be jetted off to Orlando in Florida, the theme park capital of the world, to test out some of the city's best rollercoasters for three weeks in either April or May this year.

Some of the theme parks the candidate will be visiting are fan-favourites including Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, Busch Gardens and SeaWorld Orlando. But the candidate won't have to enjoy the theme parks alone as they can also bring one friend, partner or family member to explore the parks with them (permitting they are over the age of 18).

But it's not just the rollercoasters that they'll be reviewing. The candidate will also have to judge the food, souvenirs, fireworks, parades and shows on offer at each park, take photo-ops with characters and gather any other important need-to-know tidbits for those looking to visit the theme park sometime soon.

The best part? The candidate will be paid 3,000 for the three weeks of work. The company is also willing to cover all travel expenses, in-park expenses (such as fast passes, food, tickets to shows) and even lend the candidate a GoPro so that they can capture on film what it's actually like to ride the rollercoasters. The candidate will also have to wear a Fit Bit to record their heart rate whilst on some of the parks' scariest rides.

The job requirements state that the candidate must be social media savvy, can capture high-quality photos and videos of their experience and maintain a daily video diary. There will even be the opportunity to take over Ocean Florida's own social media channels. From these descriptions, we can only guess that the company is looking for someone that already has a substantial following on social media.

Harry Hastings, co-chief executive at Ocean Florida, said: "We're on the hunt for someone to fill the role of Official Florida Theme Park Tester here at Ocean Florida.

"It's an incredibly exciting opportunity, and truly is a job like no other. If you have a thirst for adventure and a passion for trying out new experiences, we want to hear from you.

"If you think you fit the bill head to our website to apply and don't be afraid to get creative with your application.

"2020 is an exciting year for us, and we can't wait to see our new theme park tester in action - good luck."

To apply, all you need to do is fill out the online form on the company's website and answer an all-important question: which Disney character would you be and why? You'll have to be quick if you think you have a shot as applicants are only open until January 31 2020.
