Discover Les vestiges de Kaesong North Korea

Kaesong Namdae Gate is one of the twelve vestiges of the Koryo dynasty (918-1392), all now listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These ruins are found in the south of the country, a few miles from an inter-Korean industrial site which has been closed since the recent tensions between North and South Korea. The Koryo dynasty is very important in the history of Korea, and even gave the country its name! Palaces, tombs, walls, gates, commemorative steles...there is even an astronomical observatory.
