Easyvoyage and the protection of personal data.

This chart defines, how we protect your personal details obtained when you sign up to our newsletter.

By subscribing to the Easyvoyage newsletter, you are allowing us to keep and update files containing your personal data, which could include (but is not limited to) information such as name, email address, etc.

In accordance with the "Law of Liberty of Information" (78-17; 6 Janruary 1978), you have the right to access and modify any data provided during subscription to our services. The treatment of personal data received in subscription to the Easyvoyage newsletter is declared under the National Commission for Information and Freedom, number 1298016.

We are committed to protecting your private life, and will only pass your information on to third parties in the conditions outlined in our Confidentiality Chart. The filing and usage of personal information adheres to French laws on the protection of personal data.

Our 9 guarantees.

1. Easyvoyage is 'objective' (mostly)

In order to limit subjective material, we have opted for a double grading system of hotels and holidays sold by affiliated tour-operateurs.
We apply double gradingto all hotels and holidays: journalists from our editorial team travel to the sites to rate hotels according to the European Charter for Hotels; then, clients are able to make judgements based on their own experiences.

Objective journalists' opinion + our readers' opinion = reliable information!

Easyvoyage search results are automatically sorted in order of price, but can also be classed according to other criteria (airport, time of departure, stopovers...).
For holidays, tours and cruises, results are also classed by price, with each partner's top three promotions appearing on the first page.

2. Easyvoyage aims to be exhaustive

We are committed to offering the largest possible range of offers from all of the major tour operators. Ever since our launch (now two and half years ago), we have applied the same editorial practice to all of our content, all of our services, for all the countries, and all of the products on offer.

Seaside resorts represent a major part of the tourism market. To respond to this demand, 24,000 hotels are put forward by British operators. More than 8,000 of these hotels have already been visited by Easyvoyage teams (3,000 of which are available for booking on our website). We currently test 1,000 hotels per year. The same process is applied to our selection of other products.

Our aim is to be exhaustive, in order to be the most credible source of information.

3. Easyvoyage creates its own content

Easyvoyage is a site created for travel aficionados. You will find features, ratings, themed holiday ideas, news, advice and opinions that are updated daily by our team of 18 journalists.

The body of our site is composed of 252 destination files covering countries all over the world: 30,000 pages of content, 70,000 photos, 1,500 pages of advice, tips and information written by us.

Each hotel is rated by our journalists and readers, and similarly each destination has its positive and negative aspects.

4. Easyvoyage provides you with a selection of special offers on holidays

Thanks to our partners, we are able to track down the best offers, which we update on the website each morning. Our comparison tools will help you find quality deals from major tour operators, whether you're looking for an all-inclusive holiday, a flight, a tour, a hotel or a car to rent.

Each week we select an average of 100 promotions which are worth taking a look at.

5. Easyvoyage itself doesn't actually sell anything

We give our advice by sifting through offers form the largest possible number of tour operators to make sure you make the right choice.

Holiday offers are updated at least every 24 hours, and aeroplane tickets and car rental offers are shown in real-time.
We don't actually sell anything, but in a couple of clicks we provide access to offers with guaranteed honesty and professionnalism, which you can then book and buy online from our verified partners.

Who should you contact after purchasing from one of our partners? Easyvoyage is an internet portal specialising in travel, but not a commercial site; we are therefore the link between you and our partners (travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, car rental companies...).
If you need any information, or if you need help with a booking or purchase, contact the travel company you booked with directly.

6. Easyvoyage provides all the practical information for your trip

Will I need a visa? What's the country's currency? What are the currect safety regulations? How much money will I need?

It is a well known fact that any trip requires a lot of planning. In a few clicks, Easyvoyage can tell you everything about a country, a town, a tour, a seaside resort, a hotel...

No other website offers as much information. We have closely examined every necessary element for the preparation of your trip.

7. Easyvoyage visits more than 1,000 hotels per year

Easyvoyage aims to to visit as many hotels on offer by our partners as possible. We provide accurate and pricelesss information in order to simplify the decision-making process for you.

You will find specific information on each hotel in our detailed profiles, alongside a wealth of recommendations and photos. Our ratings (grading + attribution of stars) are based on the European Charter of Hoteliers, whose rating system is recognised globally.

We try to visit half of the number of hotels sold per season every year.

8. Easyvoyage updates its content daily

A party not to miss out on? A one-off gig? An unforeseen strike? A hurricane warning? A new airline? The opening of a new hotel? World news is constantly changing, and Easyvoyage is there to report back on it all.

Every day, Easyvoyage's editorial team keep you informed on all the latest travel news and events, good or bad... in short, we report all the news affecting tourism all over the world to help you plan your trip

Our sources of information are diverse and unbiased: we have various partnerships, such as with the AFP (Agence France Presse) and correspondents onsite... The news covered by our team is global!

9. Easyvoyage wants to hear from you

Easyvoyage launched an online forum long before other travel websites.The forum is open to all for comments and remarks, and is uncensored (with the exception of good manners of course).

As well as the forum, our weekly survey allows us to get to know you better so that we can keep you better informed
