Special feature Brazil: Copacabana
The Copacabana beach attracts visitors with its perfect curves. The six kilometres long beach is cut in two halves by the bay. The first two kilometres are called "Leme;" the last four, Copacabana. On summer week-ends, this beach receives several hundreds of thousands of people. The very large sandy beach becomes a buffer to the noisy city. But don't be fooled; the beach is not calm. The animation and attractions form a permanent show that makes the heat bearable.
