South from Constanta and all the way to the Bulgarian border, a string of balneoclimatic resorts are dotted all along the shoreline: Eforie North and South, Neptun, Aurora, Venus, Jupiter, Olympe, Saturn, Mangalia, to which can be added, north from Constanta, Mamaia, the emblematic Romanian-style seaside resort. They all benefit from a good amount of daily sunshine and they are well equipped for water sports activities (swimming pools, freshwater and seawater lakes for windsurfing, sailing, water skiing and rowing). They also offer several balneotherapy centres, reputed for relieving rheumatisms.
Built in 1966, the northern district of Eforie is an independent village composed of hotels, most of which date back to the Soviet era.© Easyvoyage.com
