Discover The volcanoes of Kamchatka Russia

The Volcanoes of Kamchatka are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can only explore them during summer, as they are difficult to access when there is snow, and you are strongly advised to take a guide with you. The highest volcano is Klyuchevskaya Sopka, which is 4,750m high and has erupted 50 times in 270 years. These volcanoes are worth visiting, if only for the beautiful views they offer and the wilderness surrounding them, as well as the many brown bears!
