Discover The Yenisei River Russia

This river, which is over 2,500 miles long, flows through the Asian part of Siberia. It is magnificent, and a journey along it is a unique experience. In the north of the region the river flows into the Arctic Ocean, and has a long history. Its ports, for example, were built by camp prisoners. Above all, however, the river is the pride of the inhabitants in Siberia today. French novelist Jules Verne mentions it in his novel, 'Michael Strogoff: The Courier of the Czar', when the river is crossed by his protagonist.
