Saint-Vincent and The Grenadines

Discover Morpion and Punaise

This image is world famous, it's the postcard for which the Grenadines are famous - a single coconut palm leaf parasol standing alone on a sandbank. To the far south of the Grenadines, between Palm Island and Petit Saint Vincent, Morpion Island and its neighbour, Punaise (where you won't find any parasols!), might not have the most flattering of names, but they are part of a sandbank surrounded by a coral reef, meaning that their topography is constantly changing with the tides.
