Discover The Aldabra archipelago Seychelles

There are four groups of islands: the core group comprising the islands most frequented by travellers; the Amirantes, including Desroches and Alphonse; the Farquhar group, located just 124 miles from Madagascar; and the Aldabra group, which is farthest from the capital and almost unknown to tourists, except through the images of 'World of Silence' filmed by Commander Cousteau.
The hotel industry has developed on these islands with a view to preserving the environment. Bungalows built out of natural materials in the heart of a turquoise lagoon are the norm here. Many uninhabited islands are also used for the purposes of tourism, and host a single hotel each, which may really make you feel like you are the only person on earth!
