4 miles from Marbella, Puerto Banus is a marina frequented by many local celebrities and playing host to nearly a thousand sailboats and yachts, each one more luxurious than the last. Here you will find a multitude of restaurants, bars, antique dealers and designer shops, often open all night long during the high season. This is where the most well-off come to, conspicuously following the marina's coastal road in their shiny Rolls Royces, Ferraris, Bugattis and Porches, passing in front of outsized yachts. It's not surprising that it is the most jet-set spot in Spain!

Puerto Banus: what to do?

The promenade along the port and the marina, a visit of the bars, photos of the luxury cars, etc.

Shiny Rolls Royces, Ferraris, Bugattis and Porches, outsized yachts, VIPs, etc.

  • The chic ambiance of Spanish Saint-Tropez with its celebrities and luxury cars.
  • Its superficial side with all of the flashy people come to show off.

Dress accordingly, as you will mostly come across smartly dressed people in Puerto Banus!

To avoid

Unless you yourself have a somewhat classy car, leave yours at home; it will look ridiculous next to all the luxury cars!

Puerto Banus: what to eat?

An excellent huge cocktail in a trendy bar at the marina, which will still be half the price than in London!

Puerto Banus: what to buy?

A photo of a Lamborghini.
