Following its recent collaboration with toptable, Eurostar has further culinary news with the introduction of new menus on its Business Premier class service, developped with Michelin star chef Alain Roux. The chef, who runs the Waterside Inn in Berkshire, has used locally sourced ingredients from the UK<.a>, France and Belgium to create the new gourmet menus, available from 14th April. Customers travelling in Business Premier will, from May, also be able to take advantage of a guaranteed boarding service whereby they will be assured access to the train of their choice no matter their reservation. In addition, travellers in this class will soon be able to book taxis not only from the business lounge, but also onboard while they travel. A new iPhone and Android app is also being prepared which will facilitate ticket booking and easier check-in.

Commercial Director for Eurostar, Nick Mercer, commented: ?Last year, we saw a revival in the business markets in the UK, France and Belgium and this translated into an increase in our Business Premier passenger numbers. However, in the current climate many of our business clients have tough decisions to make about their choice of travel class, so the aim of these latest improvements is to highlight that Eurostar continues to invest in offering its Business Premier customers exceptional levels of flexibility, service and value.?
