Finally spring is here and the urge to escape to a beach is stronger than ever as summer approaches. But where is the best spot to take advantage of the glorious sunbeams and the clear waters of the ocean?

Let us talk about the most beautiful beach in the world: Grace Bay Beach on Turks and Caicos, which is a British overseas territory. But what is the special aspect about this distinctive paradise?

Every year, the American website TripAdvisor rewards the most beautiful beaches in the world. And just like in 2016, the Grace Bay Beach on Turks and Caicos is still the most beautiful beach and the most incredible place to be to soak up those rays.

Brooke Ferencsik, senior director of communications for TripAdvisor, stated in an online commentary, 'this is one of the most beautiful settings you will ever experience. The beach is wide and excellent for a long walk, peaceful and not overcrowded."

"The water consists of multiple shades of blue and you can get lost in the horizon," he added.

The beach is located in the southeast of the Bahamas on the open sea of the Caribbean.

The oasis of peace with his turquoise, crystal clear ocean and its long, white and powdery sand beach hides on the island Providenciales, which belongs to the archipelago of the Caicos islands, the most important part of the British overseas territory.

With a length of 5 kilometers Grace Bay Beach is perfect for long strolls or just for admiring the view. Moreover many luxurious hotels and fancy restaurants surround the beautiful beach.

The paradise on earth is guaranteed to be free from natural impacts as algae or stones and stays extremely clean. What's more, the ocean is really calm. From time to time you could meet a surfer at the beach, or less often a sailboat.

For all you divers out there, it is definitely worth plunging into the waters to have an adventure with sea turtles, rays, reef sharks and in the middle of tropically colored fishes that the ocean is teemed with.

And if you are not much of a stay at the beach type of traveller then fret not as you can see more of the surroundings by renting a motor scooter or a bike in which you can discover the whole island of Providenciales.

What's more, you adventure lovers can also take advantage of the wide range of of water sports, both in the air and along the beach including parasailing, water-skiing, banana boating, fishing, paddle-boarding and kayaking.
