The ranking of the best weather destinations by week
The weather often sets the tone of your holidays, but it also determines which activities you're able to do when you reach your destination. Weather conditions aren't just about air temperature, but wind speed, sunshine rates, sea temperatures and humidity levels. That's why Easyvoyage has created the very first Weather Comfort Index, cross-referencing six criteria to produce an overall score for destinations around the world. Perceived temperature takes into account both humidity and wind. Bad weather is an indicator which cross-references predicted wind and rain levels. Tanning rate is compiled from information on sunshine levels and the presence (or lack) of clouds. Humidity is an indicator which takes into account the discomfort felt from the rate of humidity in the air. Bathing rate combines the temperature of the air and the sea. Finally, wind rate is calculated from wind strength and the temperature. These indicators based on perceived conditions allow us to give an overall weather evaluation for each tourist destination.
The weather is rated on a scale from 0 to 100, with the worst weather conditions ranging between 0 and 19 and the best ranging above 79.
