Weather Forecast in China's Eastern Provinces

Given the size of the area, Eastern China has a wide range of climates. In the north, the winters are freezing and last from December to March, while the summers are very hot with highs of 38°C in Beijing. However, it also rains a lot during this period, which lasts from May to August. Spring is the best season to visit.

Further south, around Shanghai, the summers last longer and are hot and humid, with very high temperatures between April and October. The winters, on the other hand, are much shorter than in the north.

In the far south, near Canton, April to September is the rainy season, with violent typhoons on the southeastern coasts. Winter only lasts for 3 months, from January to March.
