Hotel NH Doelen

The NH Doelen is located near the Rembrandtplein and the flower market, a few steps away from theaters and museums, among them the Rijksmuseum, the house of Rembrandt, and the Jewish History museum.

A superb building that stands on 5 floors with great elegance. The hotel dates back to 1883 and has kept an antique interior. Decorated with gilding, marble, moldings and chandeliers, it offers classical luxurious style. A fortification wall inside the hotel attracts several tourists who come to admire this vestige.

85 small and aging rooms but which will be soon renovated. Red carpet, wooden furniture, flowered curtains, the decor is classical in an old style. The small sized bathrooms have a bath, except some individual rooms. Several beauty products allow the visitor to only arrive with his/her tooth brush. Some rooms have a balcony and those overlooking the canal are smaller. As for amenities, no minibar but a free safe and a television.

Decorated with chandeliers and old paintings, this room immerses the guest in a 19th century Amsterdam ambience the moment one wakes up. A special buffet is reserved for children. Furthermore, they will receive a gift at their arrival.
For lunch and dinner, the hotel does not have a restaurant but several restaurants in the surroundings offer a wide choice.
