Hotel Acropolis Select

The hotel is located south of Athens' downtown area, close to the park entrance of the Acropolis and the Plaka district, on Falirou street.

The Acropolis Select is one of the few hotels in mainland Greece that has earned an official star in the Easyvoyage classification This additional star is awarded partly due to the standing of the building, its architecture, its furniture and decoration. Moreover, the hotel's location, at the foot of the Acropolis makes it a perfect stopover for those wishing to sightsee the city without the need to open your "piggy bank".

The immediate surroundings are not so terrible, but the hotel itself is located in a beautiful six-storey building. It has a total of 72 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a spacious conference room and a private parking lot. The decoration is decisively modern and makes use of materials such as wood, glass and wrought iron.

All rooms are large (161 square feet), pleasantly decorated, and equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, a large television screen (21 inches) with local channels, satellite channels and 5 "pay per view" channels (renting a movie at a distance), a safe, a mini-bar, an ISDN Internet connection, a bath and a hair dryer in each bathroom. Seven rooms directly overlook the Acropolis.

The restaurant can accommodate from 80 to 140 people depending on the season. A full American buffet is served for breakfast and lunch, and at dinner you can choose from an a la carte menu focusing on international cuisine of excellent quality.
