Take advantage of this charming hotel's location and its small courtyard in summer.
Located at the end of the long Rue Blomet, this hotel benefits from a good location half-way between the Montparnasse train station and Porte de Versailles. This really is an enjoyable neighbourhood to stay in, thanks to the direct proximity of Blomet Square and the inviting Place du Général Beret (Général Beret square), with its wide choice of cafes and brasseries.
Most recently renovated in 2006, the Aberotel boasts a lot of character, its personally chosen decor making you feel like a true traveller. The minimalist lobby has just a few wicker chairs facing the small reception. What really gives this place its charm is the small interior courtyard that separates the main building from a little doll-house sized breakfast room. Weather permitting, this is an extremely pleasant outdoor area.
Each of the hotel's 28 guest rooms has its own unique style, their predominant colours ranging from pink to yellow and lightly decorated, with African masks and statues. Their wood furnishings are also inkeeping with this ethnic theme. The rooms are pleasantly bright, letting in natural sunlight which is accentuated by the numerous mirrors featured in the rooms. The size of the bathrooms, however, is nothing to write home about.
