Northumberland National Park

Being the northernmost national park in England and covering an area of more than 1,050 square kilometres, Northumberland National Park is a great place to visit for your staycation. There are many national parks in the UK, but this one is one of the least populated and visited, which is surprising given how beautiful it is. It offers beautiful hills setting the border between England and Scotland, rolling moorland, and even Hadrian's Wall which dates back to Rome's occupation of Britain.

Popular attractions include the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, the coastal town named Porlock, Dunster Castle, and the historic harbour town of Watchet.
