    Opinion This hotel is virtually in the centre of South Island and this makes a perfect place to break your journey when driving across the island.

    Advantages Beautiful scenery, clean basic hotel. Close to lake Tekapo and Mt Cook can be seen as you drive from the hotel.

    Disadvantages It is pretty isolated so options for eating are limited.
