The Residence opened in 2002 and consists of just two floors and 50 guest rooms, meaning that the staff here can provided a more personalised service in extremely peaceful surroundings. Extremely different from the resort's other two hotels, it provides plush, intimate, elegant and sophisticated surroundings adorned, but not overloaded, with decorative features. You will notice various coloured curvy marble features that sit side-by-side in perfect harmony, as well as armchairs inlaid with mother-of-pearl, whilst the corridors, with their rather low wooden ceilings, feature numerous arched openings, each offering a slightly different view of the resort and its vast geometric grounds. The Residence is also sheltered from the rest of the resort by its thick vegetation and slightly withdrawn location. A series of fountains, waterways enhanced by beautiful red flowers, lawned areas and rows of palm trees lead through to a large and beautiful geometric swimming pool (which is only open to guests staying at the Residence), before the curved pathway heads off through the sprawling gardens down to the beach. The beautiful gym features parquet flooring and boasts a large number of the latest machines, although less athletic guests may prefer the hot stones located at the centre of the very traditional spa. You might also be interested to know that whilst the spa has a total of 12 treatment rooms, the treatments offered here are never mixed, and as there are no separate areas for men and women, the latter are invited to book treatments in the morning, the former in the evening.
