The Euro Plaza is a unpretentious hotel located between Galata Bridge and Taksim Square. It benefits from basic comfort in a rather unexceptional setting.
Between Galata tower and Taksim, the Euro Plaza benefits from a central location, giving quick access to both the historical area and the shopping and night-life area. The airport is half an hour drive away when the traffic is fluent.
There are 158 small rooms. There you will find all the comfort you expect, in a clean environment. Comfortable beds, mini-bar, satellite television, safe. Rather timid minimal decoration fails to make an impact in the midst of all garish colours of the room (Mustard yellow blanket, green curtains and red floor...). Fortunately the walls are white! The bathrooms are small but clean. The bathrooms have a bathtub, a hair dryer and hospitality products.
Built in 1994, the Euro Plaza was last renovated in 2006. The twelve rooms have 158 rooms and 2 suites. The imposing building is entirely covered in glass, giving a great view over the Bosphorus in all the communal areas. Unfortunately there are glazed windows only on one side and both the restaurant and the lobby lack light. The decor is not very nicely done, which creates a communal space without no particular style, despite its appearance of modernity. The bar/terrace space in the ground floor is nice and offers a view. Here you will find an outdoor pool open as soon as it hots up. An indoor pool in the basement is open throughout the year.
Here you will find two restaurants, one in the lobby and another on the 7th floor. The main restaurant (on the 7th floor) offers a buffet for every meal. The lobby restaurant has terrace for enjoying the view and at, both at lunch and dinner, it has a menu with Turkish and international specialities. 24-hour room service.
The location of the hotel has a great disadvantage: it is located in front of an 8-lane road which passes in front of the hotel and generates a great deal of traffic and constant noise. On the other side, however, we enjoy an amazing view over the Bosphorus and the other bank. 4 rooms are interconnected, for families. The Health Centre is open from 10 am to 10 pm (pool + fitness), and there is a small concert in the lobby bar five evenings per week.

Strange mixture! The Divan offers modernism and the services of a large hotel in a slightly 70's atmosphere. A functional, comfortable address a few minutes' walk from Taksim Square.
Not far from Taksim, the Point hotel is a beautiful modern hotel with great comfort and beautiful spaces.
This is a discreet little place at the very heart of Taksim, the city's business district.
With its fine restaurant and pleasant staff, the Feronya primarily attracts business travellers, though it is also a good place for a perfectly pleasant getaway.
Nevertheless, a good bit of renovations wouldn't go amiss, particularly where the rather gloomy communal areas are concerned.
The style of the Nippon is elegant and designer, its common areas and guest rooms decorated with simplicity and character.
The hotel opened some ten years ago, but it has kept a youthful and energetic atmosphere, taking advantage of its small size and its location to attract a mixed clientele: a perfect establishment for holidaymakers but also well equipped to cater for those travelling to the area on business, the Nippon is the ideal establishment for a stay in the capital.
Located close to the Marmara, this hotel has a young and dynamic style that is rather convincing: take, for example, the restaurant that caters to business travellers and employees who work in the surrounding offices daily, as well as the clean, private, and welcoming spa.
The strong point of this hotel is undoubtedly its proximity to Taksim Square, the business centre of Istanbul and a hub for nightlife.
The Taksim is a discreet place to a stay, either alone or with your family.

If you have the opportunity (and luck), ask for the Corner Suite: this is definitely the best room in the hotel.
As its name indicates, the Sumahan on the Water is a little world on the water. Inside, it displays a balance of lines and shapes that create a modern style and is never cold. This is a bit of a surprise given the exterior aspect of the building, which management wanted to keep as nondescript as possible.
This effort to go unnoticed speaks of the attention afforded to the guests, in terms of welcome, service, and cuisine. The Sumahan blends luxury and attention to detail together with know-how, efficiency, good taste, and quality.
It also commands one of the finest views of the Bosphorus there is. It really is in a league of its own.
This is a prestigious hotel offering the services of large European hotels combined with oriental charm. The setting is incredibly romantic, making the Ciragan Palace an ideal location for any honeymoon and all types of celebration. It is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Istanbul.
The Four Seasons is indisputably the most charming place in Istanbul. Nothing is left to chance in this old restored prison: neither decor, nor service. An excellent place to enjoy top-class service in the heart of one of the most beautiful historical sites in the old town.
Like the phoenix, the Çiragan Palade has risen from the ashes to produce a high-ranking and very charming hotel. An exceptional location by the Bosphorus in order to stay in the same place where sultans lived.
This luxury hotel is of a very good standing. This hotel is made for those seeking excellent comfort as well as numerous and impeccable services. Its only downside is the distant location.
An elegant, quality international hotel for business people and holidaymakers. Great food too.
The Hotel Hilton in Istanbul offers all the standard comfort of large business hotels, but this place is also suitable for tourists and anyone who wants high-quality services. It is rare in Istanbul to find a hotel with a large landscaped garden.
