The Midtown is located in a modern, simple building and is functionally organised.
Its corner location means it has a view of Taksim Square and the backstreets that are home to many hotels and small shops open late into the night.
The lobby uses this corner location to its advantage: the revolving door brings you into a minimalist space: the reception is opposite the entrance, there is a clock showing the time in cities around the world on the wall behind the desk, and there is a bar to the left as you enter.
This is the meeting spot for business meetings and groups. Indeed, the hotel is the destination for many organised tours (with lots of Italian guests) and conferences that avail of the numerous spaces in the Midtown.
The hotel has a number of conference rooms, each bearing the name of a city (Rio, Kyoto, Barcelona, ??Stockholm), and equipped with the latest technology.
We noticed that attention has been paid to the image the hotel projects. In the lobby, wall clocks provide a design feature and snacks prepared for meetings are aesthetically presented, plus, there is the constant presence of security guards.
