The hotel occupies a modern corner building. The hotel building itself, with its linear spaces and 'rational' design, is in keeping with its overall image: this becomes apparent upon entering the hotel, where the layout of the sofas and the reception area, and the detail of the materials create a very nice atmosphere indeed.
The building is an 8-storey construction, the two top floors of which are reserved for smokers.
The Nippon was renovated in 2007, and celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
The clientele is mainly made up of Europeans (many Italians, Germans, Greeks and Belgians), but there has been an increase of Middle-Eastern businessmen and women who choose the hotel for its conference rooms.
A cocktail area has been created for business drinks, compensating for the fact that there is no bar.
The establishment provides Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and there is also an Internet corner for guests who haven't brought along their computer.
Finally, the hotel also has a well-being centre which offers various massage treatments.
