A little further inland, the hotel is located between Mykonos (less than 1 mile) and the airport (1 mile). Built on a height, it enjoys a fairly good view over the Aegean Sea, but is also subject from time to time to the gusts of meltemi winds. Plati Yalos beach is 2 miles away.
The rooms have an area more than the average surface (over 215 feet²) and are tastefully decorated (beds made of wrought iron or wood, rattan furniture or solid wood). Spacious bathrooms, satellite TV, air conditioning, a mini-bar, direct dial telephone, a hair dryer, balconies or terraces. Only 19 rooms have a view onto the sea, while the rest overlook the gardens or the swimming pool.
This pleasant hotel was built in 1999 and partially renovated in 2001. The 6 buildings (5 of them housing 51 rooms, including 9 suites) built on 2 levels in the style of Mykonos create an airy, pleasant atmosphere. The lobby and the dining room are bright and furnished in traditional style. The amenities are ideal for a relaxing stay: a big swimming pool with jacuzzi, small sauna (for 2 people), a rather cosy pool bar, a fitness gym, a games room and, for children, baby sitting upon request (extra charge).
The restaurant (65 seats) offers a nice view. You may prefer to sit comfortably in a rattan armchair for lunch or dinner (until midnight) by the swimming pool. Service at table for a Greek and international menu, which is very rich (twenty entrées, including tsadziki or grilled mushrooms, and a dozen dishes such as risotto with seafood and several types of grilled meat). Breakfast in buffet style.
A hotel whose equipment (including the spacious double rooms) and organisation of its several buildings, is quite spacious and very appropriate for families (who form the majority of the clientele).

This luxurious hotel located north of the town of Mykonos has easily won the prize for architecture and the most refined atmosphere on the island. Offering perfect setting and comfort for a romantic holiday in the Cyclades.
A few hundred feet from Mykonos' city centre, the Zannis offers a score of simple and quiet rooms and a few new things..., like the swimming pool.
Although a little bit isolated inland, the Andronikos hotel is frequented by both Greek and foreign tourists. It is open during the summer period, from April to October. It offers versatile amenities and a setting perfectly matching its official category. It attracts a lot more couples than families.
Located near downtown Mykonos, the Harmony is an ideal hotel for couples. This small building has caught our attention because of its natural charm and attention to details. Designed in the purest Greek architecture, the hotel was built in 2004. Something which is fairly rare on the island, the hotel is open all year round.
The Mykonos Theoxenia is open since 1996. The hotel accommodates families but more than 90% of the clientele is composed of couples. Its very modern decoration gives a certain style to the place but it exudes a rather cold beauty. Those who are looking for animation will be interested in moving to another place.
The Semeli is a mixture of tradition and modernity, so it is fitting that the stylish and harmonious way it is decorated should combine both the new and the old. Thanks to its architecture, which is typical of the Cyclades, the hotel is very charming. On top of this, it has quality facilities. Unlike most of the hotels on the island, this establishment is open all year round, so it is just as appealing for a summer break next to the swimming pool as a winter break to keep warm next to the fireplace in the lounge.
The Manoulas Beach is a little hotel next to the pretty beach of Agios Ioannis and has all you need for an enjoyable stay: friendly staff, pleasant communal areas, and direct access to the beach. However, given that it has little in the way of facilities, guests opting to spend their holidays here come more than anything else in search of peace, quiet, and relaxation, none of which call for swanky features! Although the hotel has been open since 1982, it does not show its age. Management makes the most of the annual closure over the winter season to carry out any necessary renovations.
Open since 1976, the Despotiko is not exactly a new establishment. This is a fact that quickly becomes apparent: the old-fashioned decor could do with being renewed and some modern touches definitely wouldn't go amiss. However, thanks to the hotel's history, it has a certain charm that is rarely seen in other establishments. This town hotel stands on the edge of a road that constitutes a good starting point for going into town, although there is a bit of a hill to climb on the way back.
A member of the select Relais & Châteaux club, the Myconian Ambassador comes with outstanding credentials, the reasons for which rapidly become apparent as you discover the hotel's facilities. The service is of high quality and the setting is magnificent... Its elevated location affords an unobstructed view of the Aegean sea, but unfortunately this means it's not next to the beach. Don't worry though, the one at Platis Gialos is just a few steps away... The establishment is ideal for couples, but families are offered the warmest of welcomes as well.
A Member of the hotel chain Starwood, the Santa Marina Resort and Villas has existed since 1986. Since its renovation in 2005, the hotel has enjoyed a facelift. The modern decoration in the common areas is evidence of this. In addition, there are few hotels in Mykonos with a space devoted to children, and the Santa Marina is one of them. Families are welcome! It is open during the summer season, namely from April to October.
This beautiful modern hotel, composed of more than 80 rooms, is located at the end of the beach of Platys Gialos, in the south of Mykonos. It offers a superb view onto the Aegean Sea. Its luxury facilities and refined rooms are the main assets of the Petasos hotels' masterpiece.
This luxurious hotel located north of the town of Mykonos has easily won the prize for architecture and the most refined atmosphere on the island. Offering perfect setting and comfort for a romantic holiday in the Cyclades.
The Porto Mykonos is a hotel with 60 rooms, located opposite the port of the main town on the island. Attractive for the elegance of its facilities and the beauty of its view, the hotel is best suited to a young and festive clientele than to families seeking seaside resorts.
This boutique hotel in Agios Stefanos is a complete joy. Couples looking for a romantic getaway will not be disappointed! The Grace Mykonos and its tranquil ambience provide a perfect setting that is further enhanced by the utter charm of the typical Cycladic architecture and the friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel opened in 2007, and its modern decor is perfectly in kilter with its facilities. What the amenities lack in quantity they make up for in quality.
