Cardiff’s National Museum: a Journey Through Art, Science, and History

This exhibit takes visitors on a breathtaking 4,600-million-year journey, starting with the Big Bang and culminating in the present day. The exhibit allows you to explore the prehistoric world and encounter imposing creatures like dinosaurs and woolly mammoths. You’ll also learn about the geological and evolutionary history of the region.

What's more, the museum not only showcases impressive collections, it also offers visitors the chance to try out new things by offering a variety of creative and craft courses, such as an insight in botanical illustrations.

After exploring the exhibits, visitors can relax at the Museum Café, located in the Main Hall. Open daily until 4pm, the café offers a selection of drinks and snacks, providing a perfect pit stop to recharge.
