4 - A helicopter ride over Dubai

There's nothing like taking to the skies for a spectacular view of Dubai. For around twenty minutes, passengers can admire the city's most majestic buildings, starting with the Burj al Arab, followed by The Palm artificial island and the immense Burj Khalifa. The view from the helicopter as it flies between the buildings is breathtaking. It's the perfect activity to combine thrills and wonder.

5 - Visit the Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest man-made structure, needs no introduction. At 828 metres, it towers far above the city's other skyscrapers. To enjoy the breathtaking views, all you have to do is take a lift to the 124th floor to reach the main observatory, 456 metres above ground. The ascent is impressive, as the lift reaches such a height in just a few minutes. Visitors don't even have time to realise it, as here they are already high above the whole of Dubai.

6 - The Dubai Mall

Welcome to the biggest shopping centre in the United Arab Emirates. With its 1,200 shops, it would be the dream of any shopaholic. The facilities are grandiose. It's impossible not to mention the incredible mural sculpture in the middle of the mall. Called 'Waterfall', it depicts divers jumping from a waterfall. It's an impressive piece of work, with litres of water falling from the ceiling.

Those who don't particularly like shopping can head to the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, where you can meet tiger sharks, one of the 33,000 aquatic species housed in this grandiose aquarium. When it comes to eating out, there are also some good food addresses, such as Origami Sushi, which serves refined Japanese cuisine in an intimate, chic setting.

After dark, tourists flock to the foot of the Dubai Mall to watch the fountains, a light and music show that makes the water dance and twirl in a poetic way. For an even more enchanting experience, you can also take a water taxi. On board, visitors can enjoy an unobstructed view of the show and experience the magic of this aquatic spectacle up close.

8 - A day in Hatta

It's hard to imagine, but it's true! Just an hour and a half's drive from Dubai lies a hidden gem of nature, like an oasis. The Hatta water reserve offers incredible scenery, very different from the urban panorama of Dubai. On the way there, the tone is set: desert and mountains in the distance flash before our eyes. The contrast with the city's skyscrapers is striking. It's the perfect place to take a break from nature during your stay.
