Renovated in 2006, the Ateneo has 55 rooms, divided into the categories of "standard" and "junior suite". Of its rooms, 12 of them have a small terrace (on the ground floor), or a balcony (on higher floors) with a view of the patio. These should be your first choice. If not, the rooms have a view of the Via dei Salentini (that is not bad either) or of the sides of the building (view of the quiet semi-historical neighbourhood). As for their surface area, the junior suites are just big enough to hold an extra bed, meaning they are quite big for a city hotel (25 m²). Another thing to remember, and to be chosen over the standard rooms, which are less spacious. In terms of fittings, the furniture is of Art nouveau inspiration. The rooms have a bathroom with a bathtub (with the exception of 5 of these, with a shower), and a hair dryer. The junior suites also have a small basket of welcome products (22ml). Other features: television, air conditioning, a mini-bar, telephone and a safe.
