How do you get around central Chicago with your family?

Taxis are an easy way for families to explore the city's main attractions. You'll find plenty of them in the city centre.

Otherwise, public transport is convenient and serves the heart of Chicago perfectly. Several metro lines run underground and you can even take an aerial metro (a dream for children). In fact, the aerial metro allows you to see the oldest buildings in the Loop sector!

There are preferential fares and passes depending on how long you spend there.

The Chicago Transit Authority coordinates the bus and metro networks.

Where can I park in downtown Chicago?

Coming by car is clearly not the best solution. Parking spaces are scarce and expensive, and you will certainly have to use one of the underground car parks.
