Dubai: 4 days with the Trass Family

Dubai amazes travellers who dream of grandeur and the unusual. The destination is accessible to everyone. With friends and family alike, Dubai has no shortage of incredible, out-of-the-ordinary activities to please young and old alike. Jules and Agathe, both influencers and models, parents of little Paola, take us on a spectacular 4-day itinerary through the heart of the city of all possibilities. It's a trip that we're sure will convince you that Dubai is a 'Family Friendly' destination to discover as soon as possible.

DAY 1: Chill out and relax on the hotel beach

Air travel, however pleasant, is tiring. So if you want to make the most of your stay once you're there, it's vital to give yourself a moment's rest to recuperate after a long flight. So to get back into shape and acclimatise to Dubai, there's nothing better than spending the first day at the hotel in peace and quiet, chilling out with the family on the beach and taking advantage of the hotel's activities.

Especially when the hotel in question happens to be the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, a 5-star resort perfect for a family break in the heart of the famous artificial palm-shaped island, Palm Jumeirah.

In addition to the private beach, which is just a 3-minute walk away, the hotel has a particularly well-equipped Kids Club with pools and slides for children. Perfect for keeping the little ones entertained in complete safety, as Paola was able to do in the midst of all the water games.

A wonderful evening at La Perle Show

After a day of rest and relaxation at the hotel, we ended our first day in style by attending the La Perle show. It's a show like few others, combining creativity and the performing arts with cutting-edge technology to create an exceptional experience that puts stars in the eyes of children and parents alike.

DAY 2: A morning in a helicopter to admire Dubai from the air

Dubai is undoubtedly the city of grandeur, and while many travellers see it with their feet firmly planted on the ground, there is one unique activity that is sure to amaze us all: a helicopter flight.

From the sky, it's easy to admire the immensity of Dubai and its buildings. On a flight lasting around twenty minutes - ideal time for an activity with a child - you'll see Dubai's iconic landmarks, such as the famous Burj Al Arab, in the shape of a sail measuring over 300 metres high, and the remarkable Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest human structure ever built, standing at almost 850 metres high.

An afternoon of time travel at the Museum of the Future

It's impossible not to marvel at this impressive building along Sheikh Zayed Road.

Already won over? Wait until you see the inside of the museum. For around two hours, visitors are teleported into the future as the MOTF (the nickname of the Museum Of The Future) explores how society could evolve and transform our world several years from now.

This water park, located in the Atlantis hotel at the heart of The Palm artificial island, offers families plenty of fun, thanks to the many water games that can be enjoyed with young children, such as The Wave, where visitors sit on huge buoys that glide across the water.

For those who don't want to get too wet, The Lost Chamber Aquarium is a sensational family activity. Here we are in the shoes of explorers searching for the ruins of Atlantis, lost thousands of years ago. During the visit, visitors will come across many impressive marine specimens, including rays and sharks.

DAY 4: Morning shopping and activities at the Dubai Mall

More than just a shopping centre, the Dubai Mall has become a real tourist attraction in its own right. This is the place to go for an incredible shopping experience. It's home to some of the world's biggest brands, who have opened shops of staggering proportions. Not to mention a huge aquarium and even several ski slopes. It's mind-blowing!

Vertiginous afternoon at the Burj Khalifa

To round off your stay in style, head for the Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure in the world. A visit to this building offers an exceptional experience, as travellers enjoy a spectacular view of Dubai and the surrounding desert.

Once you've had your fill of contemplation, it's time for the thrills and spills of the attractions on site. To keep the kids amused, you can walk on a glass floor that seems to collapse under your feet. Emotions guaranteed for Paola and the other little ones on site. For a great souvenir of your visit to Dubai, decorations such as wings are painted on the glass walls, so you can take some lovely shots of your children.

Even more impressive, the Glass Slide gives the illusion of flying on a carpet! This last attraction consists of taking a slide made entirely of glass, above the void. Make sure you don't close your eyes to enjoy the view!
