The title of best-served city in the world for public transport did not just fall from the sky. This conclusion is the result of a study carried out by the insurance firm William Russel, which took into account a number of criteria, including price, the number of lines and stops in the city, as well as the number of electric vehicles and bicycles available. The score is then calculated out of 10.
The results were unanimous: Paris beat all its rivals with a score of 10/10. In second place was Stockholm with a score of 9.41/10, and Hong Kong rounded off the top three with an average score of 8.82/10. The Spanish capital, Madrid, came tenth with a score of 4.12/10.
