See you in the wonderful world of Mickey!

Once upon a time, there was a wonderful world just outside Paris. A marvellous world in which adults became children again and children were kings. A wonderful world where one second you're walking down an American street in the early 20th century in a horse-drawn carriage, and the next you're aboard a rocket heading for the moon. Since it opened on 12 April 1992, Disneyland Paris has never ceased to attract young and old alike for an exciting day out. The little ones will be delighted to meet their favourite cartoon characters: Mickey, Donald, Aladdin, Peter Pan and the Snow Queen. Older children will head for the thrill rides. The park is made up of five worlds (Main Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Discoveryland and Fantasyland), each featuring different universes and characters. Next door, the Walt Disney Studio immerses us in the world of television and cinema.

What to do at Disneyland Paris

Main Street U.S.A.

A visit to Disneyland Paris is always full of surprises! Main Street U.S.A. transports visitors to the heart of an American street from the early 20th century, inspired by Walt Disney's childhood town, with its vintage cars, horse-drawn carriages, a steam train that runs through the park and a retrospective on the creation of the Statue ofLiberty...

The Disneyland Paris parade.

There are plenty of shops to pick up souvenirs of this memorable day. This is usually the starting point for the famous parades in which the most famous Disney characters march past: a magical moment!

Discoveryland

From a street in the United States to the Moon at Disneyland, it's just one step (a small step for man, a giant leap for the imagination). Discoveryland, as its name suggests, is dedicated to the world of discovery... in space! The Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and Star Tours attractions will take you to the four corners of the galaxy.

Here you can sample intergalactic specialities or go shopping to decorate your spaceship. This part of the park is the ideal place for science fiction fans who have always dreamed of meeting Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader.

Fantasyland

Stars, stars and more stars. After the stars in the sky, Fantasyland immerses visitors in the world of the best-known Disney film stars and cartoons. Entering this world is like opening an interactive storybook.

Alice's Labyrinth in Fantasyland.

So the wildest dreams can come true, like finding yourself in the middle of Alice in Wonderland's labyrinth, flying over London in Peter Pan's boat or making yourself comfortable on the Lancelot carousel. This is the children's favourite part of the park, where they often meet their favourite characters and princesses.

Adventureland

What more could you ask for?Exoticism, experienced bandits, ruthless thugs and bloodthirsty pirates? Go to Adventureland! Inspired by major adventure films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones and Aladdin, the thrill-seeking attractions in this part of the park will give you a good dose of adrenalin.

Keep your eyes peeled for Captain Hook, Jack Sparrow or Timon and Pumba. Hidden away in the lush vegetation, the restaurants and shops on site will only add to your immersion in this imaginary world, enough to delight budding adventurers!

Frontierland

And it doesn't stop there, because a little further on, the adventure of the conquest of the West awaits you at Frontierland. With the Mine Train, shooting galleries and a reconstructed fort, complete with cowboys and Indians, there's no time to rest on your laurels just yet.

Try your hand at Tex-Mex cuisine in a saloon, do your shopping in the heart of the Wild West and admire the Disney characters in their finest cowboy attire... Unless you fancy a trip aboard the Mark Twain or the Molly Brown, two paddle steamers.

Walt Disney Studios

Have you always dreamed of going behind the scenes of your favourite films? Well, you can at Walt Disney Studios! In this park, which is a tribute to the cinema, visitors can go behind the scenes of Disney and Pixar creations and immerse themselves in the films in the franchise, including Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Cars and Marvel...

Their worlds can be found in the thrill rides, but also in the shops and restaurants: who hasn't dreamt of eating the food cooked by Rémy? Walt Disney Studios is a park in its own right, just as worth a visit as Disneyland Paris!

A few tips for your visit

  • If you can, visit Disneyland Paris on a weekday outside the school holidays to avoid the crowds and long queues. In any case, book your ticket online before you come, as the park is very often full.
  • Eating at a later time means you can avoid the queues at the restaurants and enjoy the attractions more.
  • Bring water, a cap and sun cream, as the wait in the sun can be long. In case of rain or cold, dress warmly and don't forget the umbrella and the bright yellow Disney poncho... An essential piece of Disney prêt-à-porter.
  • A day goes by very quickly and you probably won't have time to do everything. Studying the map and pinpointing the attractions you want to do first, as well as the times of parades and shows, is the best way to save time on site.
