Top 4 Spanish cities to visit if you like to party

We all know that there is an important party culture in Great Britain. Pretty much everyone likes to go out for a drink, party with their friends, partner or family, but if you want to party for a weekend or while on holiday, we are going to give you some recommendations to have the most fun experience in Spain in four big cities: from Madrid, Ibiza, Barcelona and Malaga.

1. Madrid

Madrid is the capital of Spain, which explains why it is such a cultural place, and definitely is well worth visiting. You probably won’t even have enough time given the amount of things to visit, from The Plaza Mayor, The Royal Palace, The Royal Theatre, The Prado Museum, The Botanical Gardens and the Reina Sofia National Museum and Art Centre. But you won’t get bored at night either, since there are a lot of things to do, from going out partying, going to the theatre, and so on.

Going out in Spain’s capital city is probably the best if you want to have a great time with your friends, as there are plenty of options in terms of bars and discos. Madrid's nightlife is very lively, and each neighbourhood offers a different atmosphere. For instance, Salamanca is more chic, Malasaña more trendy, while the Gran Vía and Puerta del Sol areas are probably the most lively and therefore the most crowded places, but great to meet new people. And if you are looking for a club, head to the Barceló Theatre, which is a very popular place to go dancing for young people.

2. Ibiza

Ibiza has a lot to offer, from its wonderful coves, where you will find relaxation and adventure at the same time, to the historic city centre, which is beautiful and definitely worth a visit, and the gorgeous beaches where you can admire breathtaking sunsets.

Ibiza is part of the archipelago of the Balearic Islands, and is famous for having the best parties in the world, which is an experience you have to live at least once, particularly if you like DJs. There are so many iconic artists playing there that you shouldn’t be surprised to see celebrities attending some of the events, also organizing private parties where the best DJs in the world come to make people dance. The island is home to one of the best clubs in the world, Pacha, which is open all year round.

3. Barcelona

Barcelona is one of the top places to visit in Europe for a city break since it is full of museums, parks, and Gaudi buildings, such as the famous Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, and Camp Nou, but also charming streets to stroll along, as well as the famous avenue of Las Ramblas.

It is the case for numerous cities in Spain, but Barcelona is the perfect city for partying - there are many bars and clubs with great events, but also some of the best parties organized on the city beaches. In summer, it gets even better on the Costa Brava, with the different music festivals such as the Primavera Sound festival, the Sonar electro festival and the Cruïlla festival. If you’re looking for a great setting to party, head to the Opium Barcelona Restaurant and Club, which is on the beach and offers everything from great music to dance the night away, a sushi bar, and international cuisine.

4. Malaga

Famous for its ideal climate, Malaga is one of the best places in Europe for good weather with an average temperature of 18 degrees per year. Besides, it is a lively and culturally rich city, with the Pablo Picasso Museum; the Cathedral of the Incarnation; the Alcazaba; the Roman Theatre and the historical botanical garden. And if you have enough time, you can also visit nearby towns such as Torremolinos, Nerja, Benalmádena, Marbella or Fuengirola.

But the Andalusian city is equally perfect for nightlife, and one of the best times to enjoy the festivities is during the Malaga fair in August. There are also plenty of great clubs to discover, and we would recommend Bambu club, which offers some of the best music in the city with talented resident DJs.
