Being the northernmost national park in England and covering an area of more than 1,050 square kilometres, Northumberland National Park is a great place to visit for your staycation. There are many national parks in the UK, but this one is one of the least populated and visited, which is surprising given how beautiful it is. It offers beautiful hills setting the border between England and Scotland, rolling moorland, and even Hadrian's Wall which dates back to Rome's occupation of Britain.
Sometimes international travel just isn't that appealing, and taking advntage of everything the UK has to offer just sounds more relaxing. And while there are plenty of popular staycation spots peppered throughout the Isle like Cornwall, Devon and the Cotswolds, these can often get crowded and overwhelming. That's why we've compiled a small list of our favourite underrated spots for a soothing staycation inside the UK.
