There's nothing quite like a soothing beach walk, and Wales might just be the perfect place for one. With superb coastlines, sandy beaches and epic views, beaches such as Barafundle, Rhossili and Tenby in Wales are beautiful spots and often voted in the world's top 20 best beaches.

North Beach, Tenby

The harbour town picturesque Tenby is home to North Beach, one of the best beaches in South Wales. With its beautiful sand and Goscar Rock in the middle of it, it is a beautiful location and offers wonderful pictures, as well as exciting activities, to its visitors.

Barafundle Bay, Pembrokeshire

Barafundle Bay often gets a spot on the ‘best beaches’ list, thanks to its stunning views, dunes, pine trees and golden sands. Often compared to Caribbean beaches, it offers very peaceful walks and has no facilities or parking, which makes it a more isolated place than other beaches.

Rhossili Bay, Swansea

With its three miles of dreamy sand and coastline, Rhossili Bay truly displays the very best of what Wales has to offer. Part of the Gower Peninsula, it is a very impressive beach, offering dramatic views, dog friendliness, long walks and watersports to its visitors.

Barmouth Beach, Gwynedd

In the Mawddach Estuary in Snowdonia National Park, Barmouth Beach is one of the best beaches in North Wales. With its sand dunes, mountains and micro-climate, it is a very special place and is also ideal for surfing, or for some quiet time even during the busy months.

Three Cliffs Bay, Swansea

Named after the three cliffs framing it, Three Cliffs Bay is one of the most gorgeous locations in Wales, and a real pride of the Gower Peninsula. For nature lovers, it is a perfect place as you can hike around the clifftops, admiring the beautiful views.
