Brittany is a splendid region all year round, but winter is one of the best seasons (if not the best) to witness the spring tides. In Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, this event is eagerly awaited by tourists and locals alike, who are captivated by this unique and powerful natural spectacle.

Saint Malo was undoubtedly the place to be in the autumn for fans of the stormy seas. However, to admire this February's spring tides, you'll have to go a stone's throw away to Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, still on Brittany's Emerald Coast, to get a front-row seat for this unmissable natural spectacle, which takes place from 10 to 13 February.

Without it, you can miss out on a sensational spectacle. Here's a little tip to help you make sure you see some great waves crashing onto the shore.
Make sure that the tide coefficient is above 100, as it will be on the weekend of 10 February and until Tuesday 13 February, when coefficients will reach 110.

The port of Le Guildo is certainly the most charming on the Emerald Coast, perfect for a stroll along the water's edge. If you're feeling more sporty, you can join the GR34 and admire the beautiful panorama from the Pointe de l'Isle.
