Time Out magazine, renowned for its recommendations in cities around the world, recently published a ranking of the world's trendiest streets. Whether they are little-known or popular, according to the magazine, they are well worth a visit. France's capital features in the list, with an unexpected adress. Although this city has plenty of gorgeus streats, this one in the 20th arrondissement was declared one of the coolest in the world.

Rue Belleville, the coolest street in Paris!

Rue de Belleville fully deserves its title for its diversity and dynamism. You can do it all. Eat, stroll along its pavements, sit down in old cafés, have wild karaoke parties and even catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower from the 20th arrondissement. Luxury.

This is also the street where you'll find the best bars and restaurants in Paris: when night falls, the district is transformed!

Belleville, an ancient village

Belleville was originally a medieval village on the outskirts of Paris, linked to the capital by the famous street known as "Chemin de Belleville" (Belleville's Path). As the capital expanded over the centuries, Belleville became part of Paris, and its street was considerably urbanised: housing and shops gradually sprang up!

In recent years, the street has undergone an artistic and modern renaissance, making it a dynamic place where art, music and gastronomy come together, earning it, according to Time Out, the title of coolest street in Paris! Not to be missed on a trip to the City of Light.

Good addresses not to be missed:

Here are a few places to try out in the district. For art lovers of all kinds, head to La Bellevilloise, a multi-purpose cultural venue hosting art exhibitions, concerts, film screenings and more! If you're looking for a lively bar, the café-bar Aux Folies is perfect for sipping your favourite drinks with friends. Finally, a gourmet break is a must at Coup de tête, a bistronomic restaurant serving French and Colombian cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting.
