Day 1: Discover Agadir city centre

For a first morning, there's nothing better than a short visit to Agadir town centre. With its restaurants, cafés, shops and various businesses, the city centre has evolved in terms of modernism and has become somewhat detached from its traditions.

Stroll through the streets of the centre and pass along the Avenue des FAR, (which stands for the Royal Armed Forces), the busiest avenue, but also along the main boulevards Hassan II and Mohammed V. At the end of the morning, head for the beach, and walk along the seafront with your feet in the water under the mild Agadir sun.

After a quiet morning, it's time for lunch, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés overlooking the beach ready to welcome you and let you sample the best of Moroccan cuisine and many other specialities.

The tour continues to the Polizzi Medina, just a 15-minute drive from the city centre. Discover a prodigious place with ancestral architecture. Not far from the Medina, a 6-minute drive away, is the Les Dunes golf course. It covers 101 hectares and has 27 holes. You can take advantage of an entire course to discover the pleasures of this activity in the heart of nature. No need to be a great sportsman!
