Opening and closing times vary according to the season:
June: daily 2pm to 6pm
July and August: daily 10am to 7pm
September: daily from 1.30pm to 6pm
October: weekends 2pm to 5pm
November to March: 2pm to 5pm
In the event of bad weather, the Biarritz lighthouse may have to close. For safety reasons, no more than 10 people are authorised to be at the summit at any one time. Please note that the final deadline for accessing the lighthouse is 30 minutes before closing time, if there are fewer than 10 people already at the summit.

Where to eat
Les Platanes is a restaurant located just a 4-minute drive from the Halles market. Its relaxed style tends to seduce its clientele, although its exquisitely flavoured dishes also delight us with their authentic flavours.
How to get there
You can walk to the lighthouse from the centre of Biarritz, which takes around twenty minutes. Free parking is available in the vicinity of the lighthouse, in the Avenue de l'Impératrice or in the Floquet car park near the Asiatica Museum, from where a free shuttle bus takes you to the lighthouse in just a few minutes. From the city centre, take the free Saint-Martin shuttle bus.
