La Baule's seafront and its 9-kilometre long beach offer a vast choice of water sports facilities and activities.

Several service providers line the Esplanades and Boulevards along La Baule's seafront.

Whether you're looking to hire a boat, take sailing lessons or simply go jet-skiing, it's all possible in La Baule!

This small town of 4,500 inhabitants to the west of La Baule is both a family seaside resort and a marina.

In fact, part of the La Baule-Le Pouliguen mar ina is located in the commune of Le Pouliguen.

The La Baule-Le Pouliguen marina is located on an estuary. This arm of the sea links the Atlantic Ocean to the Guérande salt marshes.

The marina is accessible even at low tide and is well protected from the wind.

In fact, it's an ideal shelter on the Atlantic coast.

The marina has a capacity of 830 berths, with around thirty reserved for visitors. This makes it one of the largest on the Côte d'Amour.

All the services are available to ensure a perfect welcome for yachtsmen and visitors. There are toilets, showers and laundry facilities on site.

Fuel is available at the harbour entrance (diesel and unleaded).

The harbour master's office is located at 1, quai Rageot de la Touche 44500 La Baule.

When should you come and enjoy the water activities at La Baule?

La Baule is a luxury destination that attracts visitors all year round. Depending on the season, the atmosphere is very different.

As far as water sports are concerned, the best time to come is in summer, when the long sunny days are perfect for enjoying the ocean.

The summer holidays are the time when families arrive and the entertainment is at its peak.

How do I get to La Baule?

La Baule is served by train (La Baule Escoublac station and La Baule Les Pins station). If you're coming by plane, choose Nantes airport or La Baule-Escoublac aerodrome.

Once you've reached the town of La Baule-Escoublac, it's very easy to get to the beach and marina. Almost any road will take you there!

Where can I park near the port of La Baule-Le Pouliguen?

The number of inhabitants increases by a factor of 10 during the summer months (from 16,000 to over 150,000), making it difficult to park in the town in summer.

Note that parking in the city is not free. There are a few underground car parks.

If you want to park easily, come early!

Near the marina, you'll find the car parks on boulevard Guy de Champsavin.
