The Méridien Mina Seyahi enjoys a very nice location on Jumeirah beach, between the Royal Mirage and the new marina. Built in 1999, the Méridien Mina Seyahi consists of a huge brown 10-storey building with blue glass balconies on the side that faces the sea. Its very bright lobby has a bay window with a gulf view at its end. The marble floor is decorated with mosaics. There are lounges next to the reception area: midnight blue velvet chairs and coffee tables with draughtboard motifs create an original decor. The pool seems to merge with the sea. An outdoor jacuzzi will enable you to relax in a setting that makes you feel you are surrounded with blue (pool, sea and sky). This is really very nice! As for suntanning, you can choose between the solarium (for ultra-violets devotees), the lawn (rather small for the numerous deckchairs) or the beach (the best option for those who like comfort). Concerning facilities, everything is provided in sufficient quantities, from sunshades to deckchairs, through towels and mattresses.

The Méridien Mina Seyahi includes 211 rooms in total. 70% of them have sea view. Choose preferably these ones since they have balconies. The other rooms are situated on the backside: they look out on a flat desert-like area which has absolutely no charm. Well-planned without being very large, they are furnished in a simple, sober contemporary style. The balconies have wrought iron tables and chairs. The facilities, very complete, are comfortable: air-conditioning, minibar, satellite TV and direct telephone for international calls. The bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub, a hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and a selection of toilet products.

The main restaurant serves 3 styles of cuisine - all served buffet-style. This is the ideal option when you like to taste everything: Arabic specialities rub elbows with pasta, salads, seafood or raw vegetables. Fish, meats with sauces and rice with spices offer a generous and tasty choice. The deserts, with fruits coulis, chocolate sauce and fresh fruits make your mouth water! To have dinner in an elegant and intimate environment, choose the à la carte restaurant with its voluntarily plain decor. It reminds one of a minimalist canteen in London or New York and the plates' presentation is as fancy as their taste. Those loving new cuisine will love it! Finally, for a lunch or a break in the afternoon, the pool-bar overlooking the beach offers a friendly and comfortable setting.

Wide and very beautiful, the beach is around 1,600 feet long. With fine sand that is regularly cleaned, the beach slopes gently down to the splendid turquoise sea. You will only think of one thing: swimming at once! Perfect for children, the low difference in height will make adults go out a distance to have enough water to swim. Beach facilities could be more welcoming: you have to rest on plastic deckchairs, under straw huts shade. However, those who like to be alone will find enough space there. And those who like to do sports will have many choices. Customers can practice diving, game-fishing, banana, sailing, windsurf, kayak and water-skiing for an extra charge.
