Colour, imagination, art and sophistication are the words and images that best sum up the atmosphere of the rooms in the Hôtel Cambon. The forty small, dynamic and brightly coloured rooms are bright and cheerful. They are divided into single, double and standard or balcony junior suite categories, as well as a single, particularly impressive senior suite. Nothing about the rooms or decor is done to a template, and some of the rooms offer some magnificent views. The senior suite has a private terrace, while two of the junior suites open out onto marvellous little balconies with views of the Tuileries and the Sacré Coeur. The 7th-floor attic rooms are truly snug retreats, while those on the other floors are attractively decorated in shimmering colours that give the rooms a really happy feel. As you are probably aware by now, the decor focuses around the vivacity and energy of the colours. All the rooms are decorated differently, and each is adorned with its own unique work of art. Some of the walls are painted ochre, others are covered with cloth, and while one room has a more rustic finishing, the walls of another are covered in light wood. The decor plays on the combination of many colours, creating an extremely welcoming and cosy feel. This relatively small hotel is really hard to resist because it has managed to achieve a style that feels both noble in its sophistication and relaxed in its imaginative decor. Each room has a minibar, pay TV, Wifi (payable) and a television with international and sports channels.
