    Location 8.29 /10

It is located in a fantastic area, full of charm. You will undoubtedly be enthraled by the bohemian spirit that haunts the surrounding narrow streets. This is the very heart of the Latin quarter. How can you not get lost and carried away by the throngs of people strolling through the maze of pedestrian streets that make up this "Village district"? The hotel is at the intersection of the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th arrondissements of Paris. It therefore offers the chic and trendy atmosphere of the Latin quarter and Saint-Germain des Prés, where the capital's youth goes to have a lively and festive time. What's more, the most impressive monuments of Paris, the ones that have made its reputation, are only half a mile away: Notre-Dame cathedral, the Louvre museum and the Medieval museum, just to give a few examples. The beautiful areas of the 5th and 6th arrondissements and the narrow streets surrounding the Panthéon may be visited on foot. If it's an invigorating stroll and some fresh air that you need, head for the jardin du Luxembourg and its alleyways. As for transport, the RER B connects both airports, and lines 4 and 10 of the metro are not far from the hotel.

    Accommodation 6.45 /10

The interior of the rooms is somewhat quaint. Despite being very-well kept and perfectly clean, they lack a modern, contemporary touch. However, this is of little importance as the rooms are well laid-out and decorated in soft and relaxing tones. Each is slightly different and shows either blue, green or red colour schemes. The wall-to-wall carpets, curtains and bedding are in matching tones, which makes for a harmonious setting and the furniture dates from the 80's and is made of dark wood with angular and sturdy lines. Like the rooms, which are decorated in different colours, the bathrooms vary widely in terms of their interior. Many are covered in rather quaint marble tiles, either in dark brown or lighter colours, the latter being our preference as they are much more pleasant and modern. Other bathrooms have more traditional beige- and chocolate-coloured tiling. In short, every room has its specificity, and some are slightly more modern and trendy than others. Every room has free wireless Internet access and international TV channels.

    Overview 6.95 /10

The building is very old and is said to date from the 16th century. The second and fifth floors have small balconies with wrought iron railings and nicely sculpted window frames. The interior is in the same noble vein and creates a manor-like atmosphere. The walls of the entrance and the beautiful lounge area are covered in something quite unique: a superb checkered leather wall cladding, something of rare elegance and beauty! Statues and knights' armours and a beautiful stone fireplace add to the general medieval feeling of the place. The setting is so warm and elegant that you forget that it may seem a little out-of-date. In the breakfast room, the floor is covered with a modern and beautiful red-striped wall-to-wall carpet and there is a massive wooden chest and red curtains and tables. Everything is very chic. The hotel is run by a family that is always present and committed to offering its guests a warm welcome.

Located in a building that dates from the late 19th century, this hotel, which opened its doors in 2001, is reminiscent of an English library with its leather chairs and checkered wallpaper. In the centre of the golden triangle of Paris universities, close to the prestigious College de France, the hotel seems to be a mandatory stop-off point for professors and people visiting the capital. The hotel's international clientele is very diverse and essentially consists of couples and families.

The Bristol is one of the few luxury hotels in Paris that belongs to a European family (German) rather than one of the great families of Asia or the United Arab Emirates. Stylish, classy and refined, the Bristol holds great importance in the quality and authenticity of its features and materials. Its gourmet restaurant attracts a demanding clientele that is fond of excellent cuisine.

Boasting rooms fit for a princess, impressive lounges and a Michelin-starred restaurant, the George V ticks all the boxes when it comes to satisfying even the most demanding of guests. The latest Parisian luxury hotel, the Shangri-La will seduce a demanding clientele that will know how to appreciate the richly ornate Empire style of this particular hotel. Nothing more can be said about the lengths taken to find the materials, designs, and other accessories that contribute to recreating the atmosphere of the 19th century, while at the same time offering the comfort and modernity of the 21st century. This extremely shiny and ornate Empire style may scare away some potential guests, however, it is still a real privilege to stay in this residence previously owned by a prince, the great nephew of Napoleon.

Inaugurated on 28 February 2012, the W Paris - Opera has finally opened in the City of Light. The Starwood brand linked to fashion and trends thus has its own prestigious establishment in Paris.
Nestled in a 19th century building, the hotel is in a great location. Design and modernity, with a conceptual touch, all come together here. Its designer is in the best position to explain why, since we're not sure it's really clear otherwise, but the W Paris-Opera is centred around the theme The Spark. The establishment thus defines itself as a "spark", creating a fictitious connection between the very first W hotel in New York and its newest sibling in Paris.

At the heart of the Opera district, the W can already rely on its guests who are fans of the brand and hopes that word of mouth will make it the place to be in the area; not just for its rooms but for its restaurant and bar as well.
