    Location 6.63 /10

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet little street with little traffic, just behind the Champs Elysées. The streets around the hotel mainly house offices, but you only need to walk a short distance towards the main streets to find the underground and RER (French express train) stations, a variety of restaurants and the city's most famous monuments.

    Accommodation 8.35 /10

The hotel has 40 rooms divided into 5 categories according to the room size and bed size: standard, classic, superior, executive and suite. The rooms are pretty much the right size for this category, and those on the 2nd and 5th floors also have a little balcony. The amenities are fit for a 4* establishment, including individual air-conditioning, a flat-screen television, safe, mini-bar, hair-dryer and bathrobes (on request for the classic and standard rooms). In the superior category and higher, there is also a trouser press and the suites have an iPod docking station. Bear in mind that room service is only available Monday to Friday during mealtimes.

    Overview 7.50 /10

The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a discreet little bar overlooking a tiny winter garden. It stays open until 11:00pm and is perfect to curl up with a book next to the artificial fireplace during long winter evenings. The lobby contains Asian influences, for example lacquered furniture and zen paintings, which sit well with the Toile de Jouy. Lots of the guests consider this place something of a second home, which is understandable given its atmosphere. Wi-Fi access is free in the common areas but charged in the rooms, and use of the business corner is also charged. The breakfast floor in the basement is enhanced by fresh flowers, which are regularly changed.

    To know

The owner of this hotel also has another, the Keppler in the 16th arrondissement, the decor of which is much more modern.

The Prince de Galles is in a great location a five minute walk from the Champs Elysées. The luxury hotel is simple in its décor and lacks a little character. The hotel is ideal for guests looking to be left to themselves. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the comfortable beds 'pull' guests towards their mounds of cushions and soft linens!

Stylish, classy and refined, the Bristol holds great importance in the quality and authenticity of its features and materials. Its gourmet restaurant attracts a demanding clientele that is fond of excellent cuisine.

The latest Parisian luxury hotel, the Shangri-La will seduce a demanding clientele that will know how to appreciate the richly ornate Empire style of this particular hotel. Nothing more can be said about the lengths taken to find the materials, designs, and other accessories that contribute to recreating the atmosphere of the 19th century, while at the same time offering the comfort and modernity of the 21st century. This extremely shiny and ornate Empire style may scare away some potential guests, however, it is still a real privilege to stay in this residence previously owned by a prince, the great nephew of Napoleon.

Inaugurated on 28 February 2012, the W Paris - Opera has finally opened in the City of Light. The Starwood brand linked to fashion and trends thus has its own prestigious establishment in Paris.
Nestled in a 19th century building, the hotel is in a great location. Design and modernity, with a conceptual touch, all come together here. Its designer is in the best position to explain why, since we're not sure it's really clear otherwise, but the W Paris-Opera is centred around the theme The Spark. The establishment thus defines itself as a "spark", creating a fictitious connection between the very first W hotel in New York and its newest sibling in Paris.

At the heart of the Opera district, the W can already rely on its guests who are fans of the brand and hopes that word of mouth will make it the place to be in the area; not just for its rooms but for its restaurant and bar as well.
