    Location 6.02 /10

The French capital's famous Golden Triangle is marked out by three large avenues: Avenue des Champs Elysées, Avenue Montaigne and Avenue George V, and the hotel is in a quiet street right in the middle of this. The nearest underground stations are George V, Franklin Roosevelt and Alma Marceau (lines 1 and 9), a 5 to 10 minute walk away. In any case, the location is within walking distance of the Grand Palais, Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower!

    Accommodation 8.00 /10

The hotel has 93 rooms, including 23 standard rooms, 43 superior, 14 deluxe, 8 junior suites and 5 grand suites. They are all decorated with style, combining precious materials like silk and flannel with colours currently in fashion, for example taupe and raspberry. Each room is equipped with a heated trouser press, iPod dock, a safe with a plug inside, and a DVD player. The wood and marble bathrooms are provided with Molton Brown hospitality products, a hair-dryer, bathrobes and slippers (the deluxe category and higher have a separate shower). A subtle touch that makes all the difference is the discretion of the service thanks to the hatch between the corridor and the room, which means you can receive room service or other requests without even opening the door. The suites are also very charming and colourful.

    Overview 9.00 /10

Following major renovations, Richard Martinet set about creating the refined and intimate decor in 2002, referencing classic, Art Deco and even modern styles. The result is an attractive and unique combination of mouldings and marble fireplaces, a large Art Deco door, Aubusson wallpaper, and plum coloured designer furniture. The staff are welcoming from the moment you enter the establishment. There is a fitness centre for guests to use free of charge between 6:00am and 11:00pm, with a sauna, showers with massage jets, two treatment rooms (massages and beauty treatments), and a gym whose machines each have an individual screen. The hotel also provides two meeting rooms with natural lighting, far from the commotion of the rest of the hotel.

    Food and drink 8.45 /10

First of all, slip into the hushed ambience of the bar, Louis², which is adorned with Makassar ebony, opalescent alabaster and polished bronze. It is the perfect place to watch the locals enjoying a drink after work, or enjoy the seclusion of the private lounges separated by bookcases. Next, head for the restaurant with the same name, where the chef Yann Frohn prepares slightly reinterpreted French cuisine, using many natural ingredients. The menu offers something to suit all palates, with lightly spiced linguini and roast lobster, raw or seared steak tartar and the cheeseburger leading the way in the popularity stakes. The snack menu is available at the bar from 11:00am until 11:00pm. Bear in mind that the restaurant is closed on the weekend.

    To know

The hotel management has instigated a campaign to promote sustainable development, with big bottles of hospitality products, the involvement of guests to help manage the cleaning of towels and sheets, use of environmentally friendly cleaning products, and a paper recycling policy in the offices.

This hotel was actually a family-run guesthouse in the 1930s, and although the Group has obviously renovated and improved it (it remained a 2-star and then a 3-star for a long time), the spirit lives on through its loyal staff and very classic decor...

With its prime location between the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elysées, this hotel stands at the heart of the fashion designer district (with the Chanel headquarters nearby). The façade reveals little of the luxury and refinement that await you inside. However, as soon as you step inside, you'll realise that this is a grand hotel. In fact, this 4-star establishment provides customised service and makes a real effort so that every detail pleases even the most demanding guests.

Stylish, classy and refined, the Bristol holds great importance in the quality and authenticity of its features and materials. Its gourmet restaurant attracts a demanding clientele that is fond of excellent cuisine.

The George V is one of the most prestigious Parisian palaces in the city. You barely have to cross the threshold before realising you are entering a hotel in which luxury, perfection and indulgence are the name of the game. Boasting rooms fit for a princess, impressive lounges and a Michelin-starred restaurant, the George V ticks all the boxes when it comes to satisfying even the most demanding of guests. The interior designer Pierre Yves Rochon oversaw the complete refurbishment of the building in 1997, and has since then continued to make improvements to the decor in the 18th Century style.

The latest Parisian luxury hotel, the Shangri-La will seduce a demanding clientele that will know how to appreciate the richly ornate Empire style of this particular hotel. Nothing more can be said about the lengths taken to find the materials, designs, and other accessories that contribute to recreating the atmosphere of the 19th century, while at the same time offering the comfort and modernity of the 21st century. This extremely shiny and ornate Empire style may scare away some potential guests, however, it is still a real privilege to stay in this residence previously owned by a prince, the great nephew of Napoleon.

Inaugurated on 28 February 2012, the W Paris - Opera has finally opened in the City of Light. The Starwood brand linked to fashion and trends thus has its own prestigious establishment in Paris.
Nestled in a 19th century building, the hotel is in a great location. Design and modernity, with a conceptual touch, all come together here. Its designer is in the best position to explain why, since we're not sure it's really clear otherwise, but the W Paris-Opera is centred around the theme The Spark. The establishment thus defines itself as a "spark", creating a fictitious connection between the very first W hotel in New York and its newest sibling in Paris.

At the heart of the Opera district, the W can already rely on its guests who are fans of the brand and hopes that word of mouth will make it the place to be in the area; not just for its rooms but for its restaurant and bar as well.
