    Location 8.72 /10

    8/10
The Louvre Richelieu hotel is located in Rue de Richelieu, in one of the nicer neighbourhoods of Paris, in the 1st arrondissement. The end of the street opens onto place André Malraux, which lies next to Place de Carrousel, and therefore the Louvre. The famous museum is therefore at the gates of the hotel. Also close by is Opéra Garnier. The hotel is close to metro lines 1, 7 and 14, so you have easy access to all of the emblematic areas of the city, including Bastille, the Champs Elysées, Place d'Italie and Gare du Nord station. If you feel like a morning run to get off to a good start, you'll enjoy the green expanse of the Jardin des Tuileries.

    Accommodation 4.95 /10

This hotel has single, double, and triple rooms, which are all identical, with not much to show in terms of decor. They feature the bare minimum in terms of commodities, provided with only a bed, a wardrobe and a desk. The furniture is charmless and the rooms nondescript, but there is free Wi-Fi access. The welcome is friendly and the staff speak several languages. All of the rooms have a bathroom.

    Overview 5.45 /10

Despite the grandeur of its name, the Louvre Richelieu is in fact a small 1-star hotel. It therefore does not have much to offer in terms of comfort and amenities, but the rates are decent. There is no lift and you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the reception. In the morning, breakfast is served in the modest reception hall, composed of three tables laid out around benches where guests can sit and eat. However, eating in the midst of arriving and departing guests is not a particularly intimate experience. The room has no windows looking out onto the street and the atmosphere is rather gloomy. There is a computer here available to guests, for a fee.

Stylish, classy and refined, the Bristol holds great importance in the quality and authenticity of its features and materials. Its gourmet restaurant attracts a demanding clientele that is fond of excellent cuisine.

The latest Parisian luxury hotel, the Shangri-La will seduce a demanding clientele that will know how to appreciate the richly ornate Empire style of this particular hotel. Nothing more can be said about the lengths taken to find the materials, designs, and other accessories that contribute to recreating the atmosphere of the 19th century, while at the same time offering the comfort and modernity of the 21st century. This extremely shiny and ornate Empire style may scare away some potential guests, however, it is still a real privilege to stay in this residence previously owned by a prince, the great nephew of Napoleon.

Inaugurated on 28 February 2012, the W Paris - Opera has finally opened in the City of Light. The Starwood brand linked to fashion and trends thus has its own prestigious establishment in Paris.
Nestled in a 19th century building, the hotel is in a great location. Design and modernity, with a conceptual touch, all come together here. Its designer is in the best position to explain why, since we're not sure it's really clear otherwise, but the W Paris-Opera is centred around the theme The Spark. The establishment thus defines itself as a "spark", creating a fictitious connection between the very first W hotel in New York and its newest sibling in Paris.

At the heart of the Opera district, the W can already rely on its guests who are fans of the brand and hopes that word of mouth will make it the place to be in the area; not just for its rooms but for its restaurant and bar as well.
