    Location 6.7 /10

The hotel enjoys a prime location to the left of the Arc de Triomphe, just in front of the Champs Elysées, as well as easy access to public transport links such as the city's metro system and the bus network, which is the more pleasant option. Its location means that the hotel attracts all types of guests, with both the Palais des Congrès and Disneyland directly accessible on the metro and the RER regional express train respectively. There is a wide variety of restaurants and bars in the area, which is very busy throughout the day and rather more peaceful on the weekend.

    Accommodation 7.50 /10

The corridors at the hotel are in the process of being renovated to give them a more contemporary feel, whilst the decor in the hotel's 58 Classic, Superior and Executive rooms is a clever combination of traditional and contemporary. All rooms come with individual air-conditioning, a mini-bar, a hair-dryer, a safe and a flat-screen television, and room service is available until 3:00am. The rooms are also on the whole reasonably-sized, and some even have a balcony, but it might be worth noting that some of the Classic rooms can be a little on the small side.

    Overview 7.70 /10

This well-appointed little hotel is housed in a fine-looking Haussmannian building where the traditional decor will leave you in no doubt as to which city you are in, with light colours such as ochre, Toile de Jouy fabrics and papered walls, among other things, though there are also a few Asian touches to break the monotony of the surroundings. The hotel bar, the Rotonde, adds a rather more contemporary touch to the place, thanks to its more current taupe colour scheme and its striped fabrics. The bar is open from 8:00am to 10:00pm and is very popular with guests looking to organise meetings or get some work done. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available, as well as a business centre, for which there is a charge.

After 3 years of renovations, this palace from the Roaring Twenties was the first Parisian palace to renew its facilities. The renovations were the exclusive work of designer Philippe Starck and the least one can say is that he put all his heart and personality into the hotel.

Stylish, classy and refined, the Bristol holds great importance in the quality and authenticity of its features and materials. The George V is one of the most prestigious Parisian palaces in the city. You barely have to cross the threshold before realising you are entering a hotel in which luxury, perfection and indulgence are the name of the game. Boasting rooms fit for a princess, impressive lounges and a Michelin-starred restaurant, the George V ticks all the boxes when it comes to satisfying even the most demanding of guests. The interior designer Pierre Yves Rochon oversaw the complete refurbishment of the building in 1997, and has since then continued to make improvements to the decor in the 18th Century style.

The latest Parisian luxury hotel, the Shangri-La will seduce a demanding clientele that will know how to appreciate the richly ornate Empire style of this particular hotel. Nothing more can be said about the lengths taken to find the materials, designs, and other accessories that contribute to recreating the atmosphere of the 19th century, while at the same time offering the comfort and modernity of the 21st century. This extremely shiny and ornate Empire style may scare away some potential guests, however, it is still a real privilege to stay in this residence previously owned by a prince, the great nephew of Napoleon.

Inaugurated on 28 February 2012, the W Paris - Opera has finally opened in the City of Light. The Starwood brand linked to fashion and trends thus has its own prestigious establishment in Paris.
Nestled in a 19th century building, the hotel is in a great location. Design and modernity, with a conceptual touch, all come together here. Its designer is in the best position to explain why, since we're not sure it's really clear otherwise, but the W Paris-Opera is centred around the theme The Spark. The establishment thus defines itself as a "spark", creating a fictitious connection between the very first W hotel in New York and its newest sibling in Paris.

At the heart of the Opera district, the W can already rely on its guests who are fans of the brand and hopes that word of mouth will make it the place to be in the area; not just for its rooms but for its restaurant and bar as well.
