    Location 8.69 /10

The hotel is well-located just a stone's throw from the Palais-Royal and its gardens, also renowned for its controversial construction by French artist Daniel Buren who has since been either loved or hated for his famous Columns. Just to the right of the hotel lies the Vivienne shopping arcade, home to a great many shops and interesting things to see - a kind of little sister to the typically Parisian alleyways. There are various restaurants in the vicinity, particularly as the hotel stands at the gateway to Paris's Japanese quarter, which was established several decades ago and is now home to many a good eatery serving far more than the ever-popular though rather limited sushi. The closest metro station is Bourse.

    Accommodation 6.45 /10

All of the hotel's 46 guest rooms are in the Standard category and despite being very small are nevertheless functional. There are some pieces of furniture where you can store your things and hang your clothes, whilst amenities include a flat-screen television broadcasting a selection of international channels, individual air-conditioning and a welcome tray with tea and coffee-making facilities but no refrigerator. Safe deposit boxes can be hired at reception. The bathrooms are also small and most come with a shower only rather than a bathtub. The rates are fairly reasonable, provided there are no trade fairs or conventions on at the time.

    Overview 7.20 /10

Formally known as the Hôtel de Normandie, a name which is still engraved in the stone surrounding the entrance, the hotel has maintained the famous coloured stripes of the northern beaches in its frontage in a nod to the past. It is housed in an elegant bourgeois building, its entrance topped by a beautiful glass canopy. The Art Deco charm of the place, complete with the wonderful mosaic floor, the sophisticated wallpaper and the typically Parisian lift to the rear, is clear as soon as you step foot inside the reception. The very tastefully decorated breakfast room is large with plenty of tables so there's no crowding at peak times, and features an antique fireplace and another mosaic, this one listed, according to the manager. There is also a conference room at the hotel.

I have paid the property from booking.com, however they say that the payment haven't received, but they have taken the money from my bank account. They keep insisted that it hasn't been paid, and asking to pay Via debit card. I have contacted the property, no response.

Stylish, classy and refined, the Bristol holds great importance in the quality and authenticity of its features and materials. Its gourmet restaurant attracts a demanding clientele that is fond of excellent cuisine.

The George V is one of the most prestigious Parisian palaces in the city. You barely have to cross the threshold before realising you are entering a hotel in which luxury, perfection and indulgence are the name of the game. Boasting rooms fit for a princess, impressive lounges and a Michelin-starred restaurant, the George V ticks all the boxes when it comes to satisfying even the most demanding of guests. The interior designer Pierre Yves Rochon oversaw the complete refurbishment of the building in 1997, and has since then continued to make improvements to the decor in the 18th Century style.

The latest Parisian luxury hotel, the Shangri-La will seduce a demanding clientele that will know how to appreciate the richly ornate Empire style of this particular hotel. Nothing more can be said about the lengths taken to find the materials, designs, and other accessories that contribute to recreating the atmosphere of the 19th century, while at the same time offering the comfort and modernity of the 21st century. This extremely shiny and ornate Empire style may scare away some potential guests, however, it is still a real privilege to stay in this residence previously owned by a prince, the great nephew of Napoleon.

Inaugurated on 28 February 2012, the W Paris - Opera has finally opened in the City of Light. The Starwood brand linked to fashion and trends thus has its own prestigious establishment in Paris.
Nestled in a 19th century building, the hotel is in a great location. Design and modernity, with a conceptual touch, all come together here. Its designer is in the best position to explain why, since we're not sure it's really clear otherwise, but the W Paris-Opera is centred around the theme The Spark. The establishment thus defines itself as a "spark", creating a fictitious connection between the very first W hotel in New York and its newest sibling in Paris.

At the heart of the Opera district, the W can already rely on its guests who are fans of the brand and hopes that word of mouth will make it the place to be in the area; not just for its rooms but for its restaurant and bar as well.
