The modestly-sized Villa Opéra Drouot has thirty or so guest rooms, a combination of Standard, Deluxe, Junior Suites and even three duplex rooms on the top floor, and extends a personalised welcome to its guests. The ambience in the rooms is definitely very retro, with red fabric on the walls, velvet-covered headboards and more notably still the hand-painted black and gold wooden furniture featuring musical instruments. Indeed, the wardrobes, desks and dressing tables in all of the rooms feature harps and trumpets, and despite the ornate furniture the surroundings are nevertheless elegant and, above all, trendy. For a little variety, the 1st and 2nd floors break from the standard decor concept found in the other rooms, with off-white silky fabrics replacing the reds for a much lighter effect and, where some are concerned, less oppressive surroundings. All rooms have a mini-bar and a television offering a wide variety of channels.
