From museum to cocktail party

Before getting to know this unusual place, you should know that this café-bar is located in the last room of Barcelona's wax museum. Located in the La Rambla district, the wax museum houses no fewer than 150 sculptures spread over 28 different themed areas.

The main (and most popular) areas are: The Hall of Fame, Sportsmen and Star Wars. The sculptures feature celebrities from both the Spanish and international scenes in a well-thought-out scenography. The tour ends with a souvenir shop and the Fairy Wood, where you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat.

Straight out of Disney

This unusual café-bar is a delight for young and old alike. You are welcomed into an enchanted forest where cocktails and tapas are served until the end of the night. It doesn't take long to take photos to immortalise this extraordinary moment, but the location lends itself to it and there's no shortage of instagrammable spots.

In the land of Snow White, all sorts of drinks are served! Open until 1am, the café transforms into a lively bar after dark. You'll need to wander round to soak up the mystical (and magical) atmosphere. You won't be disappointed if you take a tour of the haunted room.

What are we drinking?

The bar offers three main packages (for two): the gin and tonic package (including two gin and tonics and a tapas to share), the soda package (including two beers or sodas and two mini sandwiches) and the romantic package (including chocolate strawberries and a bottle of wine). And if none of these options suits you, you can order à la carte, with a wide choice of alcoholic drinks and softs, as well as tapas.

But if Fairy Wood is so famous, it's because it serves the best sangrias in Barcelona. Inexpensive and so good, they're a real treat for the wallet. And according to the customers, the reason they're so good is that the acidity and bitterness ratio is well controlled.
