An outing to a confidential site: the Corot ponds

A little-known corner of paradise just a quarter of an hour from the Paris ring road, the Etangs de Corot await you for a relaxing day in the heart of nature, in Ville-d'Avray, a charming little town in the Hauts-de-Seine department. This well-kept secret has attracted many artists since the 19th century. Starting with the painter Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, who gave his name to this green setting so close to the capital. It's a relatively little-known site, yet visitors to the MoMA in New York will be able to admire these two ponds while contemplating one of Corot's masterpieces, "Les étangs de Ville-d'Avray"!
